Horse Management Clinic - Hosted by Brook Hill Farm - May 14

This HM Clinic is FREE and open to all ODRPC members!

Location: Brook Hill Farm

Date/Time: May 14, 10am - 12pm

Clinician: Diane Hinch, USPC Chief HM Judge, ODRPC HMO

Come and set up a mock tack stall and have Diane go over and talk about what the judges are looking for.  Also included will be jogs and formals.  Bring your own stuff or use ours!   Will provide horses for you to jog!

CBPC Daniel Stewart Clinic - March 5-6, Shawboro NC

Crescent Bay Pony Club invites all ODR members to participate in their Daniel Stewart Clinic. Cost for members of ODR in clubs other than CBPC is $100 per day. Auditors are also welcome at $25 per day.

Winter Certification Prep Camp & Testing, Dec 27-29 - Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry, Bristol VA

Open to any active pony club member of Holston Pony Club or other members of Old Dominion Region Pony Clubs. Mounted or un-mounted participation is encouraged. Early Registration due Dec 11, Regular registration due Dec 20.

Camp / certification prep will be Dec 27-28. Testing will be on Dec 29 (must have permission of DC to test).

Zone 3 Standards & Certification Clinic, December 12 - Alphin Stuart Arena (Virginia Tech), Blacksburg VA

Free clinic!! Open to all ODR members (and out-of-region USPC members). Clinician will be USPC National Examiner Kim Smith. Focus will be lunging and jumping grids. See the information packet for more information. Registration is due December 1.

SWVADA Educational Sunday, May 16 - Green Hill Park Equestrian Center

This FREE EVENT is open to anyone. It features talks/demos on various topics of interest not only to dressage riders, but to all equestrian athletes. Among the presentations: Katherine Abrams (Sinking Creek Pony Club alum): "Constructing a Musical Freestyle". Several Roanoke Valley Pony Club members will be among the demo riders for Tracey Smith-Oliver: "Cavaletti for Gymnastics and Training your Horse".
